Young woman hurt in ute crash

UPDATE: A 21-year-old woman taken to Warwick Hospital after her car hit a tree is being treated for back and neck injuries.

The woman was conscious when emergency services arrived on scene at the Derreen Rd and Warwick-Killarney Rd intersection.

Police investigations are continuing.


EARLIER: A YOUNG woman has been taken to hospital after a single vehicle crash on Warwick-Killarney Rd at Murray's Bridge this evening.

Police on scene said at about 6.30pm the 21-year-old Wheatvale woman had been travelling from Killarney toward Warwick when her ute left the road and hit a tree near Derreen Rd.

The extent of her injuries is unknown, though she was in a stable condition when paramedics arrived.

Police said the cause of the crash remained under investigation.
