Would you work at Coles? 100 jobs when new store opens

THE new Coles being built at Sippy Downs looks to be on track to open early 2017.

Walls and roof beams have been erected and the space is starting to take shape, Division 6 councillor Christian Dickson reported to local constituents after touring the facility on Thursday.

"The project is progressing well despite the weather with areas of the site holding water showing the need for adequate (drainage)," Cr Dickson wrote on the Sippy Downs and District Community website.

Plumbing, roofing and insulation is now being installed, and a new right-turning lane has been installed on Sippy Downs Dr, he said.
