Woman,62, fined for abusing Diner server

A 62-YEAR-OLD woman has abused a Gatton shop attendant, accusing her of flirting with her husband.

West Haldon woman Isabelle Ann Schlecht pleaded guilty to committing public nuisance.

On Monday Gatton Magistrates Court heard the woman entered Hot Rods Diner and accused the junior female counter operator of being a "sl*t" and flirting with her husband who she had served previously.

The operator ran out the back of the shop in tears and police attended the store. Police later attended Schlecht's residence, where she said she had reacted to the attendant speaking rudely to her.

CCTV footage revealed this was not the case.

She was fined $500.
