Man "stomped on woman's head" in shock attack

BLOOD splattered across a black Mazda was residue of a violent brawl that took place on a major Warwick street.

Just after 2pm this afternoon, a fight between a crowd of men and women broke out outside Target Country on Grafton St.

A witness who was standing on the opposite side of the road at the time, said she saw a shirtless man in his 20s approach a crowd of women and teenage boys.

She said the man lunged at a woman who was pushing a pram.

Another witness said she watched as the man attacked a teenage boy.

A man in his 50s, who said he was the father of one of women, intervened and attempted to break up the fight.
