Woman airlifted to hospital after Junction View crash

A YOUNG woman has been airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital following a head on crash at in Junction View, south of Gatton.

The collision occurred around 3.35pm yesterday at the intersection between Black Duck Creek Rd and East Haldon Rd.

Police believe the accident was a low speed collision and occurred because one of the drivers failed to give way.

The drivers were believed to be locals to the area.

A 24-year-old female patient who suffered suspected head and chest injuries from the crash was transported to Toowoomba hospital in a stable condition.
