Woman airlifted after being attacked by cow

A 35-year-old woman was airlifted to the Lismore Base Hospital yesterday after being charged by a steer.

The woman received chest injuries after the steer charged her on a property at Glen Elgin, east of Glen Innes.

She was transported by the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter to the hospital where she was in a stable condition.
