Latest in men's swimwear: Where's the other half?

THE reaction to the latest in men's fashion circling social media is probably akin to that when the string bikini was revealed.

OMG. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Nearly had my eye out. Disgusting. These are just some of the comments people are making about the latest swimwear item for men.

It can only be described as a sock tied around a leg, covering a man's genitalia.

While some men might like the idea, and some women might appreciate it worn by certain types of men (aka super-fit like Olympians), they could only ever be worn as a fashion item.

I highly doubt you could swim a lap of the swimming pool without it coming off.

I just hope designers don't try to come up with anything like it for women.

The company responsible for the offending piece of fashion is Alter, a French brand.

If you are interested in buying one, check out Inderwear website. They do ship to Australia.
