Why did the salmon cross the road?

SALMON usually swim upstream, but sometimes circumstances force them to swim up-street.

That's the "fish-uation" facing several intrepid salmon in the US who swam across a flooded road in Mason County, Washington.

Heavy rains in the region have caused water levels to rise and, when that happens, the salmon go wherever the rivers are flowing, according to professional fisherman Conway Bowman, host of Fly Fishing The World.

"This can happen when high water correllates with the spawning season," Bowman told HuffPost Weird News.

"Basically, the salmon are so focused on screwing and spawning that they run up any running water."
