IT'S one of Ipswich's favourite times of the year - the annual Ipswich Show.

Residents will get the day off tomorrow for the show, giving locals a three-day long weekend.

Those heading back to work on Monday don't need to stress, with a few more of public holidays still left this year.

There are three more public holidays Queenslanders can look forward to in 2017, including:

  • Queen's Birthday - Monday, October 2
  • Christmas Day - Monday, December 25
  • Boxing Day - Tuesday, December 26
