WATCH: Kangaroos make a surprise appearance at Maroons camp

THE Maroons had an unexpected clash with the kangaroos today

But, it wasn't the national team, instead those of the fauna variety who briefly had the better of the visiting Queensland outfit on home soil at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast.

Ahead of Origin Game II battle with the Blues on Wednesday night, Maroons training had to be stopped while the local kangaroos ran riot.

It took an ex-kangaroo (ie national representative) in Maroons coach Kevin Walters to round them up while driving a buggy and get his boys back to training.
