THIRTEEN rather curious whales have been spotted off northern Moreton Island and Cape Moreton, according to those aboard the Tangalooma Jet.
Whale-watchers found perfect conditions with little swell, great visibility, and sunny blue skies all making it easier to see the whales under the surface.
Two whales, in particular, seemed fond of the boat, as they repeatedly swam beneath it before poking their eyes out of the water for a look.
