Wake Up headed for the big sleep

CHANNEL Ten is reportedly set to drop failed breakfast experiment Wake Up - and Kerrie-Anne Kennerley may be the replacement.

After the show's worst-ratings week since its debut, Wake Up, starring James Mathieson and Natarsha Belling appears headed for the scrap heap with several of the show's staffers openly putting out feelers for alternate employment, Sydney's Daily Telegraph reported.

Ten's new news and current affairs boss Peter Meakin has made no secret of the fact that the show is a ratings turkey.
