LAST week Lockyer District High School students were visited by the three piece rock act; The Violet Flames who are the final band to finish up the 2010 Rock the Schools powered by a brand called eD free entertainment and educational tour.
“We are so excited as we've never toured this intensely or for this long before and it's going to be great fun hanging out and meeting a whole lot of new people on the road,” bass player Clinton Weaver said.
“The chance to show our music to a new audience everyday excites us, as nothing is more powerful than a live performance.
“Bringing our show directly to the country's school kids is a huge opportunity for our band,” he said.
During July and August, The Violet Flames will visit 26 schools across NSW, QLD and their hometown of WA.
