Video: Tony Abbott giving US satire fans some big laughs

NO LONGER able to make fun of former President George W Bush, comedians in the United States are now having a laugh at other world leaders including our own Prime Minister Tony Abbott.

The satirical news show Last Week Tonight profiled Mr Abbott as part of an apparent series looking at leaders of nations beyond the United States, compiling his a montage of humiliating moments for the PM.

A voiceover suggests Mr Abbott or "Tony dumb-dumb" has "insulted everyone else in the country" including women, gays, the Irish, and at least one chronically-ill adult sex line worker.

The segment describes Australia as an "island nation famed for its hopping animals" with a leader who is "pro-business and religiously anti-immigration".
