VIDEO: Vehicles explode into flames near shopping centre

CHAOS at the top of the Toowoomba Range with one car exploding into flames and setting another on fire.

Witnesses have reported explosions.

Emergency services were called to the incident near the intersection of James and Cohoe Sts about 1.15pm.

They arrived to find a 4WD and the caravan it was towing engulfed in flames.

That vehicle has reportedly rolled backwards into other vehicles, causing two others to go up in flames.

There are fears other vehicles could catch on fire.

Emergency services are currently at the scene, which is believed to be near The Range Shopping Centre car park.

There have been no reports of injuries.
