Vehicle caught doing 170km/h in a 60 zone near Mackay

A VEHICLE has been detected driving at 170km/h in a 60km/h zone on Stockroute Rd.

Mackay police operating with mobile radar detected the speeding Holden Commodore overnight.

Police will allege at the time that the driver was also under the influence of alcohol.
