Vandals destroy pony club again
THE Hatton Vale Pony Club has been hit once again with vandals spraying graffiti on the clubhouse and buildings and ruining a garden, in yet another hindrance for the club still trying to get back on its feet.
The latest setback comes after volunteers virtually rebuilt the club after the floods, had six jump wings stolen recently and a donated caravan broken into with more equipment stolen from there as well.
A spokesman for the club said it was very disheartening for the club's junior members to come to the grounds and see the vandalism.
"They cannot understand how someone could get any satisfaction out of destroying property," the spokesman said.
"We have no insurance and run as a not for profit organisation."
If anyone has any information regarding the damage please phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
