Vandalism delays waste collection in Lockyer Valley

Lockyer Valley Regional Council is working to restore waste collections services, after vandals damaged trucks on Thursday night.

A council spokesperson said there will be some delays to waste and recycling services today due to vandalism of waste trucks last night.

Areas affected at this stage include Hatton Vale, Regency Downs, Brightview and Laidley Heights.

The spokesperson said trucks will continue working until services are completed, with minor delays possible tomorrow as a result.

"Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause with all services back to normal by Monday next week," the spokesperson said.
