Two children among injured in highway crash

UPDATE: Four people, including two children, are in hospital after a two vehicle crash on the Brisbane Valley Hwy this afternoon.

Queensland Ambulance Service report that all four were transported to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.

The two children, a girl and a boy, and one adult female were treated for whiplash.

Another adult female was treated for a pre-existing medical condition.

EARLIER: Four people, including two children, have been injured in a crash on the Brisbane Valley Hwy this afternoon.

Queensland Ambulance Service says paramedics are on the scene of the accident at the intersection of James Rd and the highway at Pine Mountain.

The two-vehicle collision was first reported about 3.15pm.

The full extent of the injuries is still being assessed.
