
Twenty years of art and craft
THE Christmas in the Country Annual Art and Craft Show is celebrating its 20th year in the Lockyer Valley.
November 5 and 6 brings to Gatton, the 20th Annual Christmas in the Country Art and Craft Show – a two day show offering high quality, country inspired, Christmas crafts, gifts and produce.
Bring your Christmas shopping list, and be amazed at the variety and quality of products available.
Items for sale include Christmas gifts, jewellery and accessories, quilting, patchwork and scrapbooking supplies, country crafts, folk art, paper crafts, plants, pottery, old wares, homemade goodies, rustic craft, mineral makeup, fresh local produce and cakes and the list goes on.
Admission for the show is only $6 for adults and for children under 12, it is free.
This year the event will prove to be bigger and better with great variety and value for money.
Outdoor dining from the food court and cafe will be available, providing a range of sandwiches and wraps, baking and other homemade goodies.
Christmas in the Country includes local exhibitors and those from all over the state, some of who have been involved since the event began, and as always there will be some new and different additions to the amazing range of art and craft available.
Thursday, November 4 bring us the opening evening of the Show, with drinks and nibbles starting at 7pm, and doors opening to the Show at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from Peace Lutheran Primary School Office, Shoes ‘R' Us and Sew Creative in Gatton, and Gottabee Country in Highfields.
