Truck rollover blocks major Toowoomba highway

UPDATE: The Gore Hwy remains closed after a truck rolled just outside of Toowoomba. 

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services station officer Tony Guse said the single-vehicle crash involved a B double truck. 

"We have ended up with the truck on its side, fortunately no injuries to the driver but the Gore Hwy will be closed for quite some time," he said. 

Mr Guse said the vehicle did a 180 degree turn and ended up on its side. 

EARLIER 1.40PM: The Gore Hwy is blocked after a truck rolled outside of Toowoomba.

Emergency services were called to the incident about 1.40pm, near Boundary St. 

Initial reports suggested the driver of the truck was uninjured. 

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
