Tough weather for Rifle Club patrons

ANOTHER hot and humid day greeted the Gatton Rifle Club members for their shoot on the 600yd range on Saturday.

With the light changing breeze that on occasions whipped around from the north to the south made it tough for shooters to find the centre bull.

Lloyd Turner was one who found conditions not so tricky though.

Lloyd placed 17 shots from 21 into the centre bull scoring a creditable with 121 from a possible 126.

Scope Class (out of 126): L. Turner 121, J. Horwood 111, S. Perry 100, R. Olm 99 and D. Turner 98.

Iron Sights (out of 105.21): C. Greenwood 100.2, V. Street 97.4 and R. Perry 89.1

Next week will be 700yds shooting starts at 1pm sharp.
