Toddler critical after near drowning

A TODDLER has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition following a near-drowning in the Victorian town of Mallacoota overnight.

Paramedics were called to Allan Drive just before 6.30pm with reporters of a drowning.

Emergency crews performed CPR on the two year old boy.

He was flown to a hospital in Canberra in a critical condition.
