Man charged with going armed to cause fear, wilful damage

A MAN, 36, has been charged with going armed to cause fear and wilful damage after allegedly stabbing a tyre with a knife.

Maryborough police said the incident happened in Bidwill about 2pm yesterday.

In a separate matter, Hervey Bay police are on the lookout for a stolen purple Ford sedan with the registration 797KSH.

The vehicle, with small white decorations on the side, was stolen from Urraween between 3.30pm on Saturday and 8.30am yesterday. 

Also, police said offenders entered an Urraween home through a closed but unlocked door at Saint Joseph Dr between 7pm and 7.15pm on Saturday.

And there was a burglary at Cyprus St in Urangan on Saturday between 2pm and 4.30pm, police said.
