Comedians' Caravan of Courage rumbles through Winton

AUSTRALIA'S intrepid duo Hamish and Andy love nothing more than a good old-fashioned look around.

The adventurous pair have spent a day uncovering one of Central Queensland's gems.

Their exploits at Winton will be televised on WIN Television on Sunday, in part two of the 90-minute Hamish and Andy special Caravan of Courage.

Hamish and Andy mined for opals at Winton.

The duo revved up their old caravan and drove the length of New Zealand and the breadth of Australia to compare and contrast the people and places that make the countries unique.

In a very unscientific manner, they will pick a winner.

"We can already tell it'll be a close contest," Hamish said.

"Hopefully not too close though. I'm not quite sure what we'll do if it goes into extra time."

Viewers will be treated to important cultural experiences like a Captain Cook re-enactment group, a bee beard and the world's steepest street.
