The perfect end to a great year for Miss Rodeo Australia

FOR Mallory Doyle, the Warwick Rodeo is the perfect way to finish her year as Miss Rodeo Australia.

"I've been really excited to come here," the 23-year-old said.

"It's pretty much a grand finale for me."

Along with friend and Miss Rodeo Canada Nicole Briggs, Ms Doyle said the next three days at the Warwick Rodeo would be a welcome new experience.

"The campdrafting especially is quite new to me," she said.

Both ladies are set to hand over their crowns next month.

But for the remainder of this week, the two will be treated like royalty as they represent their respective countries at the Warwick Rodeo.

They quickly picked up the art of campdrafting with their own special runs yesterday, before greeting locals in a lap of the rodeo arena.

Hailing from Ballarat, Ms Doyle said it was clear the Warwick Rodeo was a "huge thing for the community".

Ms Briggs described her short time in Australia as a "wonderful experience".

"The atmosphere is fantastic," she said.

"It's quite similar to the rodeos we have back home."
