Thailand's ousted PM plans to govern in exile

THAILAND'S former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has announced plans to form a government in exile after the military coup last week.

The ousted PM was detained on Friday by military figures, along with numerous top officials from her government, after the coup was announced.

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has said Australia will not recognise the new leadership and has condemned the coup.
