SCENIC Tours, a leading operator of all-inclusive luxury touring to India has just launched its program for 2013/2014.

A number of exciting enhancements have been made including extra time in Udaipur at the iconic Taj Lake Palace hotel, new Scenic FreeChoice and Scenic Enrich activities.

The new 13-day Colours of South India travels through the state of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, famed for backwaters, unique temple rituals, performances and rich culinary traditions.

Guests will visit the cosmopolitan city of Kochi on the Arabian Sea, an important trading centre for spices; explore the ancient and colourful temples including the magical Shri Meenakshi Temple in Madurai; and discover the legacy of the French in the town of Pondicherry.

Scenic Tours product manager for India, Brett Lemish, has lived in India for 10 years and has travelled extensively around the country.

"India is extraordinarily diverse, from the Himalayas to the beaches of Goa, to the forts and palaces of Rajasthan," he said.
