Sydney harbour to become a Japanese garden

A SUN shaped stage had been unveiled at Sydney Harbour, which is set to become the backdrop for an outdoor version of the classic opera Madama Butterfly.
From March 21, the Harbour front-site will be transformed into Japanese garden complete with traditional dishes and beverages.
Madama Butterfly tells the story of a young American who acquires an oriental bride to keep him company during his stay in Japan and ends up falling deeply in love with her.
