Man airlifted to hospital with suspected funnel-web bite
A MAN suspected of having been bitten by a funnel web spider has been airlifted to hospital by helicopter.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was located by ambulance in the Bony Mountain area north-west of Warwick last night.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man had symptoms consistent with having been bitten by a funnel web spider.
He was airlifted by helicopter to Brisbane's Princess Alexander Hospital in a stable condition.
