EXCITEMENT levels are reaching fever pitch as the World Cup prepares to kick off in Brazil.

Australia's next generation of superstars is ready to do battle with some of the best players on the planet, in one of the toughest groups at the tournament, labelled the "Group of Death".

The Socceroos have drawn defending champions Spain, plus top-ranked Chile and the Netherlands. The "experts" have been quick to write off our chances, but coach Ange Postecoglou says the team will play with the passion and pride that defines our nation.

On Monday your local paper will feature a spectacular 2014 World Cup match plan poster with everything you need to know about not only who Australia will take on and when, but all the other games at the greatest sporting event on the planet.

It's the perfect guide to keep track of the action in Brazil.
