Single-vehicle crash leaves driver dead at scene

FORENSIC Crash Unit Officers are investigating a single vehicle crash at Mount Whitestone late yesterday afternoon.

Initial investigations indicate at about 5.30pm a car was travelling south along Gatton-Clifton Road when it has left the road and collided with several trees. The car has caught alight and has been destroyed.

The driver and sole occupant of the car has died in the vehicle.

Investigations are continuing.
