Seniors newspapers bought by Australian Regional Media

AUSTRALIAN Regional Media is excited to announce the purchase of Seniors newspapers.

The current owners, Greg and Cheril Kane started the business 16 years ago with the Sunshine Coast Seniors Newspaper and have grown the business to now include papers in Gold Coast, Brisbane and Toowoomba.

The strength of these products is their local focus and their close collaboration with the local communities.

Their readers, who are an important and growing part of our communities, have a strong connection with the product.

ARM CEO Neil Monaghan said "ARM's strength is creating connections through our one local to another approach in regional communities.

With Seniors we have the opportunity to grow the product further into our regional footprint and ARM exposure to new markets such as the Gold Coast and Brisbane".

Greg and Cheril Kane said "We are excited knowing that ARM have recognised the strength of our business model and look forward to supporting ARM in growing the Seniors products over the coming 12 months".

ARM owns 12 daily newspapers, more than 60 community titles and non-daily publications across regional Queensland and New South Wales.

It also owns over 30 regional news websites, including this one.
