SO you think your neighbours' Christmas lights display is a little over the top.

Spare a thought for neighbours of a home in Meridian, Idaho which has a lights display synchronised  to bass-heavy dubstep.

The light show illuminates a home's entire front facade and lawn, with various parts going on and off to the music.

Closer to home, Perth's Gangnam Style Christmas lights have been switched off after just three nights, News Ltd reports.

The show in Churchlands was set to a soundtrack of Korean pop sensation Psy's hit.

Crowd numbers at the home were up nearly ten times on what organisers were expecting, creating safety issues and irritating some of the local residents.

The local council played Christmas Grinch, refusing to deploy traffic controllers for the lights which took 200 hours to set up.
