Scots get bashed by ruthless Boks

AUSTRALIA'S hopes of winning three consecutive Tests look bright after its next opponent, Scotland, was kept scoreless by South Africa at Murrayfield in Edinburgh yesterday.

The world No.2 side beat the Scots, who will tackle the Wallabies at the same venue this weekend, 28-0.

Willem Alberts, Willie Le Roux, JP Pietersen and Coenie Oosthuizen scored the tries, while Pat Lambie kicked four conversions.

It was the first time Scotland had failed to score since the 40-0 defeat by the All Blacks in the 2007 World Cup.
