Sanders and Clinton have sit down

PRESUMPTIVE Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton met with Bernie Sanders yesterday after beating him in the Washington DC primary - the final contest in the party's four-and-a-half month nomination process.

Senator Sanders is under pressure to endorse Mrs Clinton before next month's Democratic convention in Philadelphia, but most political analysts expect him to demand policy concessions in return.

Included in his wish list are a higher minimum wage and reform of the party's nomination process for the presidency.
