<ORETON District President Adrian Shepley, Laidley SHS Principal Micael Clarkson, Laidley RSL Sub-branch President Mike Nowlan and Faith Lutheran High School Principal Janelle Anderson are pleased to discuss the scholarships.

RSL to hand out scholarships

LAIDLEY State High School (LSHS) and Faith Lutheran High School will share in $3000 worth of scholarships thanks largely to the efforts of the Laidley RSL Sub-branch.

To be the lucky recipient of one of four scholarships, participants must submit a presentation regarding the importance of the ANZAC legend - past, present and future, and its impact on Australian history and society.

Laidley SHS Principal, Michael Clarkson, said the scholarships were a great opportunity for students to develop and demonstrate their understanding to the men and women who have defended Australia in the past and present.

“Laidley SHS thank the Laidley RSL for providing this scholarship program,” Mr Clarkson said.
