Roosters' star Shaun Kenny-Dowall in drugs arrest
SYDNEY Roosters' Shaun Kenny-Dowall has been arrested at Sydney's Ivy nightclub for drug possession.
Channel Nine is reporting the 29-year-old was charged over possessing the drug, believed to be cocaine, and issued with a court attendance notice to appear at a later date.
Kenny-Dowall previously faced domestic violence allegations during his 2015 season, but was fully acquitted of all charges.
Kenny-Dowall has played more than 200 games for the Roosters since making his NRL debut in 2007.
The Kiwi winger, who has played 20 Tests for New Zealand but was overlooked for Friday night's clash against Australia, is coming off contract at the end of the season.
He's been linked with a move to Newcastle and was recently spotted having lunch with Newcastle Knights coach Nathan Brown recently, but said he hoped to remain a one-club player.
"I have a few decisions to make but I'm taking it one week at a time at the moment', he said.
"It's a week to week proposition at the moment."
