MOVE over Messi and Ronaldo. The star of this year's World Cup could be a kangaroo from the Sunshine Coast.
Flopsy, an eastern grey kangaroo at Australia Zoo, could be shaping up as a replacement for Paul the Octopus, who became world famous for his successful 2010 World Cup predictions.
Flopsy has become the go-to girl for sports forecasts at Australia Zoo, earning the nickname Predictaroo.
Her psychic ability will be put to use during the World Cup to pick the winners of major games by choosing between food bowls representing opposing teams.
As of yesterday, Flopsy had a 100% World Cup strike rate, having successfully picked Brazil to beat Croatia.
Would you follow a kangaroo's tips for the World Cup matches?

She was tipping Spain to beat the Netherlands early this morning and leaning towards Chile over the Socceroos in the following match, although she was predicting Australia to score the first goal in the game.
"We're a little disappointed she didn't tip the Socceroos to win, but at least we know she's unbiased and following her intuition on this one," a Zoo spokesman said.
The spokesman said Flopsy had a good track record with AFL tips, tennis and athletics.
"She's got a wealth of knowledge on all things based around jumps and has been known to accurately predict winners in the long jump and hurdles, just to name a few," the spokesman said.
