Roll up, roll up - Toogoolawah Show is ON!

THE Weather Bureau might be predicting bad weather, but the Toogoolawah Show Society said the show will go on!

Vern Doyle, president of the Toogoolawah Show Society said despite the gloomy predictions, the first day of the show was held today under 'clear blue skies'.

"We are confident there will be no real interruptions, and we have a packed program in place for Saturday," Mr Doyle said.

"There may be some impact on the horse jumping events, but that is all."

The packed Saturday program includes judging of stud and dairy cattle, the woodchop and chainsaw events, pig racing and the horse program.

"All our pavilions will be open and operating, and we will have the grand parade at 2pm on Saturday."

Mr Doyle said the packed Sideshow Alley will be running all day, and urged the community to come down and support a 'true blue' regional show.

"The more the merrier, everyone is welcome at Toogoolawah."

The Toogoolawah Show is at the showgrounds, Ivory Creek road, Toogoolawah.
