Rockhampton man struck by lightning in today's storm
A ROCKHAMPTON man is lucky to be alive after being struck by lightning today.
The 25-year-old man was transported to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition after he was struck by lightning on Baker St, Koongal at about 4.15pm.
Queensland Ambulance Service released a cautionary message through Twitter following the incident reminding people to "always seek shelter during a storm and never enter floodwaters".
Last month a man was killed when he was struck by lightning at a station in north-west Queensland.
