Robyn's work a critical link

ROBYN Longford of the Lockyer Information and Neighbourhood Centre (LINC), voluntarily spent the week of the floods working tirelessly to assist people with claim forms and enquiries regarding Centrelink flood assistance.

She not only worked tirelessly at the LINC office but by photo-copying information sheets and application forms and delivering them to evacuees at the centres in Gatton.

The Centrelink agency officer was unable to get to work so that added to Robyn's workload.

But with the assistance of a few volunteers, she kept the five available rooms and seven phones going non-stop.

Robyn stayed in Gatton until Thursday evening before going home to check on her own place.

A big thank you on behalf of the LINC Management Committee for a job well done.
