'Robust conversation' with Putin, not 'shirtfront'
PRIME Minister Tony Abbott has denied he will "shirtfront" Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 meetings next month, instead saying there would be a "robust conversation" between the pair.
But he did not confirm if he had sought a separate meeting with Mr Putin during the conference in Brisbane, saying instead there was still a month to go, and he expected Mr Putin to seek such a "conversation".
