Robbers threaten Gatton men during break and enter

TWO men have escaped unharmed after robbers broke into their home this morning.

At about 1.45am, three men, armed with a rifle and knives, forced open the front door of the Marika Drive home, gaining entry to the house.

The two male occupants were forced from their beds into the lounge room where the robbers threatened with with weapons, demanding money and household items.

The robbers stole a wallet with money and a laptop before damaging two mobile phones.

The occupants, an 18 and 33 year-old were not physically injured.

Investigations by Gatton Criminal Investigation Branch are continuing.
