RIP OFF: Avoid filling up with high fuel prices across state

If you can avoid filling up today you'd be wise.

According to RACQ, Hervey Bay has unfair fuel prices with the average for unleaded at 122.1 cents a litre.

Across the state the story is similar with prices higher than average at the bowser.

Bundaberg motorists are paying slightly less for their fuel at 119.8 cents, while in Gympie fuel is 120.8 cents.

Rockhampton motorists are paying 123.0 cents while Yeppoon residents will fork out 123.5 cents.

Maryborough is one of the only places across the state with fair prices today at 119 cents a litre.

On the Sunshine Coast fuel is similar to us at 122.9 cents, while further north Rockhampton is paying 123 and Mackay motorists are being slogged 122.5 cents a litre at the bowser.

In Brisbane you'll pay 125.3 cents.
