Redfoo still under fire for Literally I Can't lyrics

IF X-FACTOR Australia judge Redfoo was looking to create a stir with his latest song 'Literally I Can't", he got more than he bargained for.

The American rapper came under fire last week from fans for misogynist lyrics in his new track recorded with Lil Jon and duo Play-N-Skillz.

And he is still receiving backlash with repeated Tweets from fans about the nature of the lyrics and reported calls for Channel Seven to axe him as a judge on X-Factor.

Redfoo was initially slammed on Twitter when the song was released for lines such as: "Girl I'm sipping on this drink, trying to see what you got, not hear what you think","You're annoying b**** because you're talking" and "Shhh, don't talk about it be about it. Work it, twerk it and maybe I'll tweet about it".

But he hit back, with a series of "facts":

Also making waves on social media was a photo of a Queensland mum in her bikini.

Brisbane motivational speaker, Julie Cross, posted the photo of herself on Facebook to make a point after she walked past a group of young people in her bikini and heard the comment: "I think she is over the bikini!".

Originally, Ms Cross was stunned by the amount of support her photo received, with more than 120,000 people liking in a day.

But then we posted the photo and story to an APN Facebook page and it truly went viral, reaching more than 3.3 million people - a new record for an APN Facebook page.

Since then, other women around Australia have shared their bikini photos, inspired by Ms Cross to be confident with their bodies.
