Cannabis plant seized in morning raid

UPDATE:  Police have seized a cannabis plant at a Regency Downs property after executing a search warrant earlier today.

Laidley Police acting officer in charge acting senior sergeant Dan Curtin confirmed officers raided a property on Gutt Road at about 11am on Wednesday, November 14.

At the property they located a 49-year-old woman in possession of a cannabis plant, a quantity of cannabis and drug utensils. 

She was issued with a notice to appear in Gatton Magistrates Court on November 17 for the offences of, one count each, produce dangerous drug, possess dangerous drug and possess drug utensils. 

Sen Sgt Dan Curtin said the raid resulted from assistance from a member of the public, and encourage anyone with information relating to crimes to contact Laidley Police on 5466 8000 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.

EARLIER: Police have carried out a raid at a Regency Downs property this morning.

Laidley Police acting officer in charge acting senior sergeant Dan Curtin confirmed officers raided a property on Gutt Road in relation to drug offences.

He said the raid was performed following information provided to the police.
