Police call for witnesses to serious accident at Harlin

POLICE are seeking witnesses to a serious, two vehicle crash which occurred on Brisbane Valley Highway at Harlin on Monday night.

Initial investigations indicate a white coloured Kenworth cattle truck crashed into a sedan around 6.45pm.

A 16-year-old girl remains in the Royal Brisbane Hospital with serious injuries.

A 51-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital for treatment while the truck driver suffered minor injuries.

The highway remained closed until just after 6am the following day.

Police wish to speak with anyone who may have seen the white Kenworth B double cattle truck travelling south on the Brisbane Valley Highway prior to the incident occurring.
