
Call for dashcam video from day Jayde Kendall disappeared
POLICE are asking motorists with dashcams to check their footage history for signs of a car that could help with the search for Jayde Kendall.
16-year-old Jayde Kendall disappeared from Gatton continues to be investigated with police asking for assistance from motorists.
Detective Acting Inspector Matt Howard is appealing to motorists to check their recordings.
"We are asking anyone with a dashcam who was in the Gatton, Grantham or Lockyer Valley area on Friday August 14 to check their recordings," Acting Detective Inspector Howard said.
"In particular any vision recorded between 3pm and 6pm that shows a red car or anything else that could be of interest to investigators."
Police have previously released images of a vehicle of interest, a red Toyota Corolla five door hatchback and believe it was in the Gatton business district at that time.
The car is distinctive with faded and damaged paint on the roof, a missing left rear hubcap and faded/dulled headlights.

Yesterday it was revealed Jayde's bank account had been accessed at Railway Street Gatton at 5.45pm and 5.47pm on the day she disappeared.
"If anyone was driving through Gatton on Railway Street around this time we would very much like to hear from them," Detective Acting Inspector Howard said.
Investigators have to date received in excess of 200 calls to Crime Stoppers and continue to urge anyone who has any information that could assist them to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
It has been nearly two weeks since Jayde was last seen.
