Police locate missing Silverdale woman

A woman reported missing from Silverdale on June 16 has been located safe and well.

Police have thanked the media and the public for their assistance.

POLICE are continuing to seek assistance from the public to help locate a woman missing from Silverdale, north-east of Warwick, yesterday morning.

Gail Donnelly, 47, was last seen at a residence on Horan Road at around 5.30am.

Her family and police are concerned for her safety and welfare, as she has not made contact with them and this is extremely out of character.

Mrs Donnelly is understood to be well-known in the Warwick area through her polocrosse involvement.

She is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 160cm tall, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey T-shirt and running shoes.

It is believed that she would have been travelling in a 2014 model red Honda Civic, bearing the Queensland registration 919 TRR.

An unconfirmed report on social media yesterday suggested she had sent a text message from Rockhampton.

  • If anybody has any information that could assist police in locating Mrs Donnelly, they are urged to contact Crime Stoppers immediately on 1800 333 000.
